COMPOSITION:

Citicoline – 500 mg

INDICATIONS FOR APPLICATION:

  • Acute period of ischemic stroke (as part of complex therapy)
  • The recovery period of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
  • TBI, acute (as part of complex therapy) and the recovery period
  • Cognitive and behavioral disorders in degenerative and vascular diseases of the brain.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug;
  • Expressed vagotonia (predominance of the parasympathetic part of the vegetative nervous system);
  • Children under 18 years (due to the lack of sufficient clinical data).

MODE OF APPLICATION:

The drug is used for intravenous or intramuscular injection, intravenously prescribe in the form of a slow intravenous injection (within 3-5 minutes depending from the prescribed dose) or intravenously drip (40-60 drops per minute).
The recommended dose for adults is 500-2000 mg / day, depending on the severity of the condition patient. The maximum daily dose is 2000 mg.
