COMPOSITION: Doxycycline 100 mg

INDICATIONS FOR APPLICATION:

  • Infections of the lower respiratory tract (acute bronchitis, exacerbations of chronic
  • bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy, empyema of the pleura);
  • Infections of ENT organs (tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis);
  • GI tract infections (cholecystitis, cholangitis, peritonitis, proctitis, periodontitis);
  • Urinary tract infections – pyelonephritis, urethritis;
  • Inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs in women (endometritis);
  • Acute and chronic prostatitis, epididymitis;
  • Purulent infections of soft tissues, acne, including acne vulgaris and acne conglobata;
  • Infectious ulcerative keratitis;
  • Prevention of surgical infections after abortion, operations on the large intestine;
  • Mycoplasmosis; chlamydia; syphilis; gonorrhea; whooping comgh; brucellosis; rickettsiosis; osteomyelitis;
  • typhus; yersiniosis; bacillary and amoebic dysentery; borreliosis; actinomycosis; leptospirosis;
  • trachoma; psittacosis; granulocyte erlichiosis; infections caused by haemophilus influenzae

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Hypersensitivity to doxycycline and tetracyclines;
  • Pregnancy (second half);
  • Breastfeeding (for the period of treatment should refrain from breastfeeding);
  • Severe hepatic impairment;
  • Leukopenia.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
Adults and children over 12 years of age with a body weight of more than 50 kg on the first day are prescribed 200 mg / day in 1 or 2 admission, in the subsequent days of treatment – 100 mg / day in 1 reception. In the case of severe infections, 200 mg / day are prescribed thromghout the treatment period.
