COMPOSITION:
Ceftriaxone – 1 g
INDICATIONS FOR APPLICATION:
Ceftriaxone is prescribed for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by sensitive microorganisms, including:
- For infections of the ENT organs, upper and lower respiratory tract (acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, pleural empyema);
- For skin and soft tissue infections (including streptoderma);
- With infections of the urino-genital organs (pyelitis, acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis, epididymitis, gynecological infections, uncomplicated gonorrhea);
- With infections of the abdominal organs (bile ducts and gastrointestinal tract, peritonitis);
- With sepsis and bacterial septicemia;
- For infections of bones (osteomyelitis), joints;
- With bacterial meningitis and endocarditis;
- With mild chancroid, syphilis, Lyme disease (spirochetosis);
- With typhoid fever;
- With salmonellosis and salmonella;
- For infections in immunocompromised patients;
- For the prevention of postoperative purulent-septic complications.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Increased sensitivity to ceftriaxone and other cephalosporins, penicillins, the first trimester of pregnancy, breastfeeding (at the time of treatment stop), hepatic-renal insufficiency.
MODE OF APPLICATION:
Adults and children over the age of 12 years are prescribed 1 -2 g 1 time / day (every 24 hours). In severe cases or infections, the causative agents of which have only moderate sensitivity to ceftriaxone, the daily dose can be increased to 4 g.
