Antimicrobial medications derivatives of quinolone. Fluoroquinolones
Solution for infusion 0.2% 100 ml
COMPOSITION: Ciprofloxacin 200 mg
INDICATIONS FOR APPLICATION:
- Uncomplicated and complicated infections caused by sensitive to ciprofloxacin by microorganisms.
- Respiratory tract infections, incl. acute and chronic (at the stage of exacerbation) bronchitis, bronchoectatic disease, infectious cystic fibrosis
- Pneumonia caused by Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Proteus spp., Esherichia coli. Pseudomonas aermginosa, Haemophilus spp., Moraxella catarrhalis, Legionella spp. and staphylococci
- Infections of ENT organs, especially those caused by Gram-negative microorganisms, including Pseudomonas aermginosa or staphylococci
- Infections of the genitourinary system (including cystitis, pyelonephritis, adnexitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, orchitis, epididymitis, uncomplicated gonorrhea)
- Intra-abdominal infections (in combination with metronidazole), incl. peritonitis infections of the gallbladder and bile ducts; skin and soft tissue infections (infected ulcers, wounds, burns, abscesses, phlegmon);
- Infections of bones and joints (osteomyelitis, septic arthritis);
- Sepsis; typhoid fever; Campylobacteriosis, shigellosis, travelers’ diarrhea;
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to quinolones, epilepsy. You can not prescribe a drug pregnant, lactating women, children and adolescents with incomplete formation skeleton (up to 15 years). When violations of kidney function, first give the usual dose, and then their decrease in view of the clearance of creatinine (the rate of purification of blood from the final product nitrogen metabolism – creatinine).
MODE OF APPLICATION: The drug is administered intravenously drip slowly. The duration of infusion is 30 minutes at a dose of 200 mg. Infusion solutions ready for use can be combine with 0.9% NaCl solution, 5% and 10% dextrose solution, Ringer’s solution.
